Herb Harris Vincent

1951 Vincent Black Shadow

by Herb Harris
Sold October 1999

This superb example of the marque was recently rebuilt by Dick Busby to near catalog specification - the departure from original being the inclusion of a V2 Ducati style clutch, in the interests of roadability. The machine, featured in a four page article in the November 1998 issue of Cycle World, has original carburettors, leather seat, Bell magneto and correct wheels. It runs very strongly indeed.
